Of her next installation, Jenna says:
"I’m tired. Tired of wildfires, data centres, habitats being destroyed. Tired of hedgerows pulled up and verges cut down, tired of all neat and tidy. Sometimes the impact of it feels too big, too overwhelming, and that’s inspired me to think small… small changes we can make that when patchworked together means the world to our birds, bees, insects, and our future. I hope this idea ignites a fire in people who visit the exhibition, and together our desire and action can bring some hope".

The White Cello
Jenna's poetry and music composition was part of Hatch Somerset's 'Journeys' exhibition at a secret barn just outside Langport.
The White Cello is a reminder that making time for yourself is the most important lesson of all.
Originally, the idea was going to explore the journey of learning the cello as an adult and compare that with the experience of learning a musical instrument as a child. Things didn't quite go to plan!
This piece actually went on a journey of its own because Jenna should've been much further along with learning to play by the time of the exhibition. As it turned out, she was only at the beginning, letting other things take priority. She said:
"Thinking about this has been interesting, and this work became more about reflecting on why we don’t make time for the things that will genuinely bring us joy. Why do we often relegate what really matters... the things we’ll remember in the days, months, and years to come? It’s about taking a moment to think about and reset our priorities in an all-too busy world, filled with distractions and pressures".
